Select two colors of marabou, in this case orange and olive. Use the color of thread to match the marabou you will tie in first (orange). Tie in two strands of rubber legs behind bead eyes and wrap thread backward to curve of hook. Tie in two or three strands of gold flashabou. Advance thread back to bead eyes. Wrap flashabou up to bead eyes and tie off. Tie in orange marabou between bead eyes and eye of hook. Wrap thread behind bead eyes and capture orange marabou with one loose wrap then bring thread back in front of bead eyes. Capture olive marabou and then make thread wraps between bead eyes and eye of hook. Whip finish. Go fish. Pack the pheasant tails, hares ears, prince nymphs and such. For bass, you'll want larger buggers, Clousers, muddler minnows, poppers and hoppers. If you are only fishing for the day you might take a look at the new one day fishing license they are offering. It's much cheaper than an annual NR license.
