I guess Charlie couldn't keep from going out after this afternoon's rain showers. He went out much later than I did
today not getting to the creek until day's end.
It didn't take long for Charlie and a black body yellow leg Creek Critter to find and land a dandy carp.
Good for Charlie! At your latitude and elevation your carpin should last a month longer than mine I would guess. Those critters are killers for you guys. The evolution of what we use could be a book in itself.

You know what Gregg? I think you have a good idea there. What if you could get fly fishers for carp from across the country to collaborate on a book of carp flies showing the fly, recipe, and how to fish it. It might be a good fundraiser and use the funds to clean up a river somewhere. Maybe you should talk to Trevor and others about this.
